What is Renuvion®?

Renuvion® is a minimally invasive cosmetic treatment that uses a cutting-edge energy delivery and plasma technology to tighten lax skin around the face and body. This treatment uses helium gas that is converted to plasma with radiofrequency energy to tighten skin. The Renuvion® device is inserted beneath the skin through small openings and precisely heats and cools rapidly to treat problem areas without affecting the skin surface. This makes for a quick and easy treatment process that doesn’t require a lengthy downtime or recovery period.

What can Renuvion® do for me?

Renuvion® is able to tighten any loose or lax skin with minimal anesthesia and without the  extensive cutting and potential scarring of traditional skin tightening procedures. Dr. Levens may recommend Renuvion® to treat lax skin around your:

What can I expect during my Renuvion® treatment?

Your Renuvion® treatment will be performed by Dr. Levens either in the operating room or in our office.  Dr. Levens will begin your treatment by with injection of a local anesthetic solution to your treatment area. You may also receive sedation if desired in the operating room. You will be very comfortable and pain free during the treatment. A thin tube will be placed though small openings in the skin in well concealed areas to approach your desired treatment area. Often liposuction will be performed first to reduce the fatty layer as needed. Then through the same opening, the Renuvion® device will be introduced. The treatment session only takes about 30-60 minutes depending on the size and number of areas.
