What is a TCA Peel?

Are you tired of wearing tons of makeup to cover up dark patches or hyperpigmentation on your face? What about acne scars or other scarring, or damage from the sun? TCA stands for trichloroacetic acid, which is an extremely effective and yet gentle base for a chemical peel, where the top layers of skin are dried and then peel off over a period of several days, which reduces discoloration and fine lines while improving melasma. If you have sun damage, facial wrinkles, pigment abnormalities, or uneven skin tone, Dr. Levens has had tremendous success with TCA peels as a skin resurfacing technique.  Why not schedule your complimentary consultation now and find out how a TCA peel from Dr. Levens Med Spa can benefit you!

How Much Does TCA Peel Cost?

During your consultation, Dr. Levens’ Medical Aesthetician will develop a personalized treatment plan, customized to your needs, so that the cost for your TCA Peel is based precisely on your unique and personal needs. Following your no obligation complimentary consultation, we will provide you with your customized treatment plan and the total cost, as well as explain our payment options, which include cash, personal check, Visa®, MasterCard® and American Express®. If you are interested in convenient financing options for the TCA Peel, our patient coordinators will explain how easy and convenient it is for you to apply for CareCredit®, Alphaeon Credit, or Prosper® Healthcare Lending, which are all offered by Dr. Levens.

Benefits of a TCA Peel

The benefits of the TCA peel lie in its unique ability to resurface the skin, removing the outer surface layers of the skin, which then allows new, healthier skin to emerge with a consistent evenness of tone and the diminishment of fine lines and darker pigmentation. New skin will have begun to form beginning in the days following your treatment, and then after the initial redness subsides, your skin will begin to regenerate, clearing away sun damage, softening leathery skin textures, and reducing the pigmentation of age and sun spots.
