Explant Mastopexy #41347

This is an explant mastopexy case performed on a 55-year-old Hispanic woman weighing 130 lbs. The before photo shows large implants in place; the plan combined complete implant removal with a mastopexy to reshape and reposition the breast tissue without replacing the implants. When a patient chooses explant alone, the skin envelope left behind by the implants often requires a lift to address the excess. Combining both procedures in a single operation lets you avoid a second surgery and a second recovery. The after photo, taken at five months post-op, shows the nipple-areola complexes repositioned higher on the chest wall, with periareolar scarring visible and consistent with the mastopexy technique used.
