Breast Augmentation #37376

The patient, a 73-year-old female, underwent breast augmentation and implant replacement due to previous encapsulation and rupture. The procedure involved the use of Sientra cohesive gel implants, sized at 225 cc with a low plus profile. The implants were placed submuscularly with circumareolar incisions. Pre-operatively, the patient had a C cup size, which remained consistent post-operatively. The images show changes over a three-month period following the surgery. Notably, there is an observable improvement in symmetry and contour of the breasts. The surgical approach included capsulectomy and mastopexy to address prior complications and optimize implant positioning. Weight of the patient was noted at 100 lbs.
