Case Notes
This 40-year-old patient, weighing 116 lbs, had breast implants in place for eight years before deciding to have them removed. The goal was explantation combined with a mastopexy to lift and reshape the breast tissue without implants. Both procedures were performed together in a single operation. The after photo is taken at three months post-op, and you can see the mastopexy incision lines still maturing at that point, which is expected at this stage of healing. When implants have been in place for a number of years, planning the lift alongside removal allows the surgeon to address the tissue in one procedure rather than staging them separately. Call (954) 752-1020 if you'd like to talk through whether this approach fits your situation.
