Breast Augmentation #37366

The patient, a 40-year-old female, underwent implant replacement and breast augmentation to address volume loss and asymmetry following childbirth. Pre-operatively, she had 350 cc silicone implants placed bilaterally, with an initial increase from an A to C cup size. The current procedure involved replacing these with 470 cc cohesive gel implants (Mentor brand) via inframammary incisions, positioned submuscularly. Post-operative images at three months show the use of capsulotomy and capsulorrhaphy techniques to achieve greater symmetry and fullness while maintaining a D cup size. The patient's weight is 113 lbs, providing context for the proportionality observed in the after photos.
