Thigh Lift
Thighplasty is for reshaping and slimming down the inner or outer thighs. Commonly called a thigh lift, the surgery treats loose skin, excess fat and poor shape in the thighs.

Good Candidates for a Thigh Lift

What Happens During Thigh Lift Surgery?
Thigh lift surgery is a 2-3 hour outpatient procedure. General anesthetic is typically required. Dr. Levens will mark the areas of the thighs that are planned for reshaping. He will then perform incisions along the inner thighs, which extend toward the knees. Sagging loose skin is removed from the thighs, while fat is removed with liposuction.
Recovery After Thigh Lift Surgery
Recovery after a thigh lift will require approximately 2 - 3 weeks. Dr. Levens will send you home with specific intstructions for this time. Patients usually need to get plenty of rest and limit their physical activities. Dr. Levens may advise you to keep your legs elevated and wear special compression garments. After recovery, will be able to see the results: firmer, slimmer thighs – without uncomfortable loose skin.
