What Happens During Restylane and Perlane Treatment?
Prior to your treatment of Restylane or Perlane in Coral Springs, your skin at the treatment site will be carefully cleansed in preparation. An anesthetic is usually not needed for treatment with these products as they both contain lidocaine for your comfort. The effects of Restylane and Perlane can last six months to one year, during which time you will experience smoother skin and greatly diminished wrinkles at the treatment site. As the product is naturally reabsorbed by your body, you may wish to return to Dr. Levens for touch-up treatments. At these appointments, a lesser amount of the product is usually necessary to maintain the result.
