   Skin and fat were then pulled downward, and the excess skin (which contained her stretch marks) was removed. The umbilicus (belly button) was epositioned, and all incisions were then carefully closed with sutures placed beneath the skin.
    "No amount of sit-ups or crunches will make a stomach flat if the muscles have been severely weakened during pregnancy or cut during a C-section," Dr. Levens notes.

The Results
    Maria says she's thrilled with the results: "My tummy is super flat...it's awesome! Everyone notices because before, I always wore baggy clothes. Now everything is fitted and tucked in.
