Welcome to our First Annual “Swimsuit Issue” |
|---|
![]() |
Unlike
its Sports Illustrated namesake, this
issue of our newsletter doesn't feature impossibly thin models in the
season's
trendiest swimwear.
But we are featuring three types of
cosmetic surgery that can help women of
all ages and sizes feel a whole lot more
comfortable and confident at the beach.
You'll see before/after photos of a
tummy tuck, liposuctions and a breast augmentation and hear from patients
who've had the rocedures. You'll read how NIA 24™ therapy can keep you safer at the beach, too. Also inside are case studies on eyelid surgery and mini-facelift, as well as beauty tips and our popular cosmetic surgery mini-quiz. We'll be discussing all these things and more at our pcoming, free seminar March 21. I invite you to join us for an informative and enjoyable evening. I also welcome you to schedule a private, complimentary consultation with me to explore your cosmetic surgery options. |

| Part One: The Belly “Bikini? Are you kidding? After having 3 children in 2 years, including very large twins, my stomach was so disgusting I wouldn't even undress in front of my husband,” recalls Terri H, 40, of Parkland. “I felt gross and terribly depressed.” Referred to Dr. Levens by her OB/GYN, Terri had a tummy tuck and calls the results “amazing...I ave the stomach of an 18-year-old...and the skimpiest bikini you can imagine!” During the procedure, Dr. Levens placed incisions low on Terri's abdomen to conceal them. He lifted skin and fat off the abdomen's underlying musculature. He tightened fascia (the tissue that interconnects the muscles) by placing multiple rows of sutures, thus reshaping the abdomen's underlying framework. He then pulled skin and fat downward, and removed excess skin. The umbilicus (belly button) was repositioned, and all incisions were then closed with sutures placed beneath the skin. “I have my life back,” Terri says, “and to celebrate, I just got my bellybutton pierced.” |
Part Two: The Thighs “I'm 34 and after years of working out and eating right, I couldn't lose the bulges at the tops of my thighs, inside and out,” says Janice M., of Plantation. “I didn't feel confident in jeans or a swimsuit. Liposuction changed all that. Dr. Levens treated me with kid gloves, I can't say enough good things about him. My only regret is that I waited so long to do this.” Mary G, of Coral Springs, has a similar story: “I'm 21, athletic and trim, but had bulges at the top of my inner thighs that drove me crazy. Others might not really notice them, but they made me very self-conscious in swimsuits and uncomfortable in some clothing. Dr. Levens was very honest and said the change would be minimal because the fat deposits weren't large, but I wanted to try. I love the results.” During liposuction, Dr. Levens inserts small suction tubes (cannulas) through tiny incisions to remove excess fat deposits. The entire bulging area is treated, removing small amounts of fat at a time and constantly checking fat thickness and contour. continued ... |
