Breast Augmentation near Fort Lauderdale, FL

Step 1: Make Your House Spotless Prior To Surgery

A day or two before going in for your breast augmentation, make sure that your home is spotless and ready for your recovery period. Trust me, you will not want to have to worry about cleaning or tidying up right after surgery. Ensure there is a room prepared for you to relax in for a few days after your breast surgery. You will want pillows and a comfy couch or bed ready to climb into when you get home. Make sure that you also have any necessary groceries and a few ice packs may come in handy.

Step 2: Have A Loved One by Your Side

Every woman undergoing breast enhancement surgery should have someone by their side at all times, be it your husband, parent, sibling or close friend. Choosing to have breast augmentation is no small decision and it is important to have someone there for both mental and physical support. Have your loved one attend your consultation with you. This way, they can hear all the information given by your surgeon first hand. Once you’re out of surgery, you will need them to drive you home. You will still be under the effects of the anesthesia used during your breast augmentation. During your recovery, it will also be nice to have someone there to keep you comfortable and help you with anything that you may need.

Step 3: Have A Netflix Marathon

For the first few days following your procedure, you will need to get some rest and relaxation. Don’t plan on moving around too much or leaving the house. Have all of your favorite movies ready to go or simply grab the remote and turn on some Netflix. With time off from your busy schedule, use this recovery time to catch up or get started on some popular shows like The Walking Dead or Breaking Bad. After a few short days of rest, you should be up and about again, but should limit your levels of activity.

Step 4: Follow Post-Op Instructions Provided By Your Plastic Surgeon

It is important that you follow all of the instructions and guidelines given to you by your plastic surgeon. You will have questions during your consultation and after your surgery, so don’t be afraid to ask anything and everything. If anything should come up following your breast enhancement, such as a shortness of breath or chest pains, make sure to call right away.

Step 5: Enjoy The Results

Once you have healed, your breast implants will provide you with the look and feel that you desire. Many women often experience a boost in their self confidence as well as an improved comfort in their appearance.
